Lithium Ion Battery Packs 8Ah to 22Ah

The lithium ion technology that has been available for a few years in power tools has now been adapted and proven sucessful in portable battery packs for lamping. At a fraction of the weight the new breed of battery packs give longer lamping time (approx) 25%.

Recharging time has been cut to a maximum of 7 hours and they do not suffer from 'memory loss' if not fully run down on a rugular basis.

One slight draw back to this new pack is the suddeness of battery failure, ie the lamp goes from full beam to no power very quicly once the battery is exhausted.
